Amazon has officially confirmed the schedule for its flagship sale event in India. Prime Day 2025 will run for 72 hours, starting at midnight on July 12 and continuing through July 14, giving Prime subscribers early access to major deals, product launches, and entertainment exclusives.
This year marks the first time the event will last three full days in India, extending benefits for an additional 24 hours compared to previous years. Prime Day 2025 will include exclusive savings, access to over 1,600 new product releases from leading brands such as OnePlus, Samsung, HP, Intel, iQOO, Asus, Boat, and Lenovo, among others.
Amazon has lined up thousands of product rollouts for the sale. Categories include electronics, home essentials, fashion, grooming products, and more. Products from over 400 national and international brands will debut exclusively for Prime users.
Beyond physical goods, Amazon Pay is introducing discounts on travel and entertainment. Customers using Amazon Pay can save up to 25 per cent on domestic airfares and up to 60% on hotel stays. Additionally, a Rs 100 cashback is being offered on movie ticket purchases. Users topping up their Amazon Pay balance with at least Rs 1,000 can receive an instant reward of up to Rs 100. International flight bookings may also fetch up to Rs 8,000 in savings.
Special discounts are available for customers using ICICI Bank Credit and Debit Cards, as well as SBI Credit Cards. Prime members using the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card can benefit from an additional 5 per cent instant discount, on top of the standard 5 per cent cashback.
Amazon’s logistics capabilities are being enhanced during the event. Prime members can avail same-day delivery on more than 1 million products and next-day delivery on over 4 million items. Categories include a broad spectrum of consumer goods ranging from smartwatches to household items.
Coinciding with the sale, Prime Video will release 17 new shows and films in multiple languages. Music lovers can access “Baelist,” a new multilingual playlist on Amazon Music featuring trending romantic songs and exclusive artist content, including the latest from the Artist Diaries video series.
Shoppers using Amazon Echo devices can rely on Alexa for hands-free assistance. Voice commands can be used to add items to carts, place orders, or track deliveries. For instance, saying, “Alexa, track my order,” or “Alexa, add coffee beans to my cart” will prompt real-time support.
